Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take a dizzying journey from love to hate every single week if you read about them in the tabloids. In public, they magically re-unite and wear their game faces, but just beneath the surface an awful truth lurks that Brangelina must someday face. That is, namely, that the two are bound for a break-up no matter how many times they deny it! This week’s tabloid reports about Angie and Brad are no exception.

Let’s take a look at two distinct rumors that threaten the very fabric of Brangelinaness.

First, In Touch has a cover story called ‘Angelina’s Twisted Threats’ that proposes the new theory that the only reason Brad Pitt is still with Angelina Jolie is because old girl has been threatening him something fierce.

The latest trouble for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came on January 30 at the Directors Guild of America awards show. Pitt was there to introduce Quentin Tarantino, the man who directed him in Inglorious Basterds. He had planned on attending the event by himself, but that didn’t sit will with Jolie, who has been losing sleep over Brad’s connection with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

“Angie demanded he take her to the ceremony and put on a convincing display of togetherness,” said an insider.

As usual, many reports of the evening showed a happy Pitt and Jolie getting along well. That’s all an act, said the insider.

“Angelina hasn’t been happy with the nasty things that have been written about her, and if they acted like they were on a date, she thought it would silence the stories – and more importantly, send a clear message to Jen to stay away.”

According to the report, things are bad between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. He’s living in a bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills, while Angelina Jolie lives in nearby Los Feliz in their home. Brad has found that Angelina Jolie will still call him at all hours of the day and night.

“Angelina calls Brad at weird hours, and sobs and screams for so long, it’s been waking her whole house up,” the insider said. “She screamed the other night that she would rather not live then see him go back to Jennifer.”

The thought of Pitt returning to whence he came in the form of Jen Aniston is more than Angelina can withstand.

According to a story that has already been denied by Jolie’s rep, Jolie has taken to threatening Pitt to get him to comply with her wishes.

“She told Brad that she had taken half of a bottle of sleeping pills, and would swallow the rest with a bottle of vodka,” said the insider. “Brad raced over to the house, frantic. But she was just sitting there with the twins, watching films as if nothing had happened.”

Star went on a different tack with their cover story, entitled “Angies Moves On – To Johnny!”

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp are starring in a new movie called The Tourist. Of course Angelina Jolie first hooked Brad Pitt when he was still married to Jennifer Aniston and they starred together in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. According to the tabloid, Angelina is back to her old tricks and has plans on stealing Johnny Depp from his woman!

“Angelina is hot for Johnny, and she’s decided she wants him,” a source said. “She’s back to her old tricks!”

Depp and Jolie first met in January at the United Talent Agency where they read through a draft of the script.

“Angie was quite the vamp with Johnny and laughed at everything he said,” a source stated. “She was shameless tease and smiled coyly at him the entire time he was reading. The sparks were really flying!”

Jolie and Depp then began meeting alone at Depp’s house to ‘get into character.’

“She’s already spent many hours there drinking red wine with Johnny under the guise of preparing for this movie. Angie knows exactly what she’s doing.”
