Angelina Jolie has been the face of luxury brand St. John since 2005, gracing magazines and billboards in their campaigns. Now, the world’s most famous actress has “overshadowed the brand,” so the line is introducing a new face: model Karen Elson.

The young, red-haired wife of White Stripes leader Jack White represents St. John’s “modern point of view” a brand spokesperson told WWD.
Karen is the “epitome of the modern day woman… the St. John woman… strong, confident, sensual and approachable with effortless glamour,” vice president of design, George Sharp, said.
