Sultry siren Angelina Jolie and sexy Spaniard Antonio Banderas, who teamed up in the 2001 erotic drama “Original Sin” is all set to dazzle their fans by the forthcoming uncut and unrated Blu Ray release of the movie.
Although the full-lipped beauty got the much dreaded Golden Raspberry Award nomination in 2001 for Worst Actress for her portrayal of the deceptive mail order bride Julia Russell in the movie, both Jolie and Banderas scorched the silver screen with the steamy sex scenes simmering with raw passion and lust. Almost two minutes of the footage of the sex romp had to be eliminated to prevent an “NC-17″ rating, however, the unrated DVD version as well as the upcoming Blu Ray version has the censored two minutes. Original Sin, which depicts the sins arising from the Fall of Man (a straight-laced Antonio Banderas living the life of utter depravity for succumbing to the temptation of the cunning Angelina Jolie) is a screen adaptation of Cornell Woolrich’s novel Waltz into Darkness and is also a remake of the 1969 Truffaut film Mississippi Mermaid.
